Google Search Console link report fixed
The Google Search Console link report has been fixed. The issue was reported on July 25, 2023, and Google confirmed that it was fixed on August 1, 2023. The issue was causing the number of links being reported to be drastically lower than the actual number of links pointing to a website. This has now been resolved, and the link report should now be showing the correct number of links.
Google has also clarified that the link report issue did not impact any actual ranking, indexing, or crawling of websites. It was simply a reporting glitch.

Make sure that you have submitted your sitemap to Google Search Console.
Wait a few days to see if the numbers increase.
