That's right. Kia has revived its Ray EV minicar, which was first launched in 2011. The new model has a larger battery and a more powerful electric motor, giving it a longer range and better performance.

The new Ray EV is powered by a 35.2-kWh battery, which is almost double the capacity of the previous model's 16.4-kWh pack. This gives the new model a manufacturer-estimated combined driving range of 127 miles (205 kilometers), compared to 86 miles (138 km) before. The electric motor has also been upgraded, now delivering 64 kilowatts (86 horsepower) and 108 pound-feet of torque, compared to the previous model's 50-kW (67-hp) motor.

The new Ray EV also features fast charging capabilities, reducing charging times and providing added convenience for drivers. Charging the battery from 10 to 80 percent takes 40 minutes using a 150 kW DC fast charger, while going from 10 to 100 percent SoC takes 6 hours using a 7kW charger.

The new Ray EV is expected to be priced starting at around $20,500 (27.35 million won). It will go on sale in South Korea in September 2023.

The revival of the Ray EV is part of Kia's plan to expand its lineup of electric vehicles. The company plans to launch 14 new EVs by 2027, including a number of mass-market models.

The Ray EV is a good option for people looking for an affordable and practical electric car. It is small and easy to park, and it has a long enough range for most daily commutes. The new model's improved performance and features make it even more attractive.
